ANRA was born as “Associazione Nazionale Responsabili Assicurazioni - A.N.R.A." (National Association of the Insurance Managers) in 1972, in Milan. At its origin it was constituted as an instrument of aggregation and, in particular, to exchange information and to compare among its partners about matters such as insurances and risk management; during the years, ANRA developed and imposed itself with many initiatives that spread the culture of rational knowledge of the risks and technics regarding the financial management and valorised the professional figures that ANRA represents.
Great and medium companies are represented in ANRA; many of its members have a great experience and they manage a portfolio, of remarkable option money, for insurances that cover a wide range of risks in Italy and abroad. Our association is founded on their professionalism and their competence to realise the initiative of training and updating at various levels; courses with the testimony of our members, seminars among our members, convention, relationship with the universities, intervention on national and international scale, the News and the Research Centre, that is organised for those people who want to elaborate their knowledge on risk management and insurances.
In 1988 it became "ANRA - Associazione dei Risk Manager e dei Responsabili Assicurazioni Aziendali", and it was an undeniable act of the already entrenched presence in Italy of the two professional figures; from 1994 ANRA allows the enrolment – for the access to the Association services – also to those professionals who, working in the insurance market – such as agents, brokers, assessors, and so on – are interested in entering the great circle of the risk management.
